Being so close to her after such a long time was to much to bear. Looking down at Hermione resting her head on his shoulder he smiled slightly. He had to tell her how he felt about her as soon as h could, but only once he was positive she felt the same.
“So…..I had a date the other night” he said quietly, though he didn’t know why. But if she reacted badly, then he’d know she cared for him too.
“….oh” Hermione twisted herself round, moving away from him so she could talk to him face to face. “You did? With who?” her expression remained emotionless, but she couldn’t help but feel jealously toward whoever the lucky was who’d gone on a date with him.
“Yeah….with…Katie Bell” he nodded uncertainly. He hadn’t spoken to Katie in a while, but Hermione didn’t need to know that. “In fact, we’ve been dating for a while now…I just never got around to telling you…..” he stared at her face, his heart dropping as she showed no emotions to the information whatsoever.

“I’ve met Hermione!” She smiles.
“Hermione?” his eyes widened at her name “Hermione Granger? About yay high, with curly brown hair and a stubborn attitude?” he raised his hand to near his shoulder, looking at Wonder with a frown.
She nods enthusiastically. “We’re friends.”
“You are?” he smiled, unable to contain the amount of happiness he felt. “Well, any friend of Hermiones is an immediate friend of mine. Unless they’re male of course” he grinned at Wonder, grateful he’d met the fairy.
She smiles back, biting her lip to keep from giggling again.
He noticed her trying to bite back her laughter and raised an eyebrow “whats so gunny miss?”
“Nothing, really. I tend to giggle at awkward times due to the mercury.”
He laughed slightly “thats unfortunate” suddenly he remember her hands and smiled slightly “Here, let me help” he took out his wand, his eyes flickering down to her cut hands.
“Um, thanks…” She whispers, watching as the cuts turn to scars.
He looked at the scars and sighed, irritated he couldn’t heal them completely. “Sorry, I did my best….”
